ok, so how did you accomplish that? this smacks of a good story!and btw, i think i might be moving to your neck of the woods. maybe we could be friendly in real life... :)
oh my! i am sorry you had to learn this!
Ahahahahahahahaha.... classic... and I can only laugh because I've done it. Wax is a tricky, tricky mistress...
That happened to me a few years ago and it actually scarred!! I had just started using Obagi skin care and nobody bothered to let me know that you can't wax because it makes your skin VERY delicate! My determatologist gave me aquaphor (you can get it at any drugstore). I was swollen and red for a few days, but now, whenever I go in the sun my skin will pigment really bad over my upper lip! It looks aweful! I have had to buy all kinds of lotions and potions online to make it go away. It always comes back though and yes, I wear sun screen every day.I hope your experience isn't anything permanent! But if it hurts- Aquaphor. I use it on minor burns and scraps for my kids too!
Yea, right. Like I let anyone take pictures of that!Tara, I'm so happy that I'm not the only one that this has happened to. It mostly took the hide of the top edge of my top lip (the red part), but I did discover later that there were a couple places that I ripped the skin off my upper lip (between my lip and nose), too.Fortunately, mine wasn't nearly as bad as yours. Still, it's a tough lesson to learn. I didn't even know this kind of damage was possible!
